Challenge

The University sought a landmark building that would embody architectural excellence while remaining highly functional. The project needed to integrate budget constraints, seismic resilience, and a bold design vision.

The project incorporated lessons from the Canterbury Earthquake Sequence, ensuring the structure met rigorous seismic performance standards.
